Join us for an evening with the artist, including a performance of original songs and poems by John Lackey halfway through the evening.

About the Work

The paintings are inspired by photos taken by John last August when he and his wife, Jenny, visited friends and family up and down the Oregon coast — their longest road trip since their wedding 35 years ago. The joy, excitement, and freedom of that journey is evident in every painting.

About the Artist

A Lexington native, John Lackey is a painter, printmaker, and writer. He has written many poems, songs, and fiction, much of which will be released in the upcoming year. John has created book and album covers, as well as logos and posters for the likes of Wilco, Holler Poets Series, and North Lime Coffee & Donuts.
